Magnets for sensors

The line of magnets for sensors is designed to meet the requirements of non-inductive sensor manufacturers that need position, level, adjustment and distance detection.

Magnets for sensors of equal dimensions offer constant switching through time at greater distances from the sensor. Aluminium or non-ferrous metallic walls do not compromise switching. Furthermore, they are unaffected by vibrations and can be installed sideways or at the front. The magnet can be embossed on the wall or recessed without compromising its correct function.

Research and design of the magnet to best suit the type of sensor required needs experience in the sector, but especially close collaboration with the sensor manufacturer. Customised design, magnetic, temperature and ambient testing and control guarantee the quality of the supplied product.

The many and most important application fields include: proximity sensors, level sensors, control and adjustment sensors, safety sensors, packaging identification sensors, and also sensors for doors, gates and lifts as well as locking and ABS sensors in the automotive sector. In automation systems, these magnets are also used for piston position sensors in pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders.

FERRITE MAGNETIC RUBBER
Magnetic flexible rubber made of plasto-ferrite, elastic, can be made in any shape. Maximum working temperature: 80°C.

NEODYMIUM MAGNETIC RUBBER
Magnetic flexible rubber made of plasto-neodymium. No mould required. We create shapes and sizes depending on customer requirements; the same applies to magnetic properties and the rigidity of the profile. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 8.5 MGOe, residual induction (Br): up to 6500 Gauss. Suitable for industrial applications. Maximum working temperature: 100°C.

PLASTO-NEODYMIUM
Compressed neodymium provides the same performance as sintered neodymium magnets, but these magnets are easier to make because they are moulded. Residual induction (Br): up to 13500 Gauss. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 42 MGOe Maximum working temperature: 200°C

NEODYMIUM
Sintered neodymium. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 48 MGOe Residual induction (Br): up to 14800 Gauss. Ring magnets with magnetisation on the diameter from 4 up to 24 radial poles. Other possible magnetisations: axial, multi-pole axial, radial, multi-pole radial, tilted multi-pole radial. Irreversible magnetic flux loss: <3%. Possibility of making magnets with a reduced percentage of dysprosium powder. Maximum working temperature: up to 220°C.

FERRITE
Sintered ferrite. Various types of magnetisation such as radial, axial, diametrical and Halbach. Characterised by no magnetic field around the central hole or around the exterior of the magnet. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 4.95 MGOe Residual induction (Br): up to 4.6 kGs. Maximum working temperature: up to 300°C.
