Magnets for locking systems

The product line created to meet all interior design requirements. There are already numerous models of magnets for locking systems available on the market. However, they are not up-to-date with modern architecture and provide poor performance.

Therefore we decided to exchange our views with the biggest manufacturers of locking systems. What transpired was the need to create magnetic solutions made of metal or plastic, but also flexible, continually carrying out research and development on materials to guarantee a range of products that can be adapted to the most varied needs of the application itself.

The applications are vast: furniture made of wood and metal, windows and doors, industrial refrigerators and household appliances, panels and furnishings, samples, cases, bags and magnetic locking/fastening systems inside cars.

Magnets for locking systems are customised according to the customer's requirements or are made in strict collaboration with the customer during the design phase.

Magnetic locking systems undergo rigorous controls and are tested to ensure they comply with the required force of attraction, guaranteeing an even and constant magnetic performance.

MAGNETIC MATERIALS FOR LOCKING SYSTEMS ARE GROUPED AS FOLLOWS:
FERRITE MAGNETIC RUBBER
Magnetic flexible rubber made of plasto-ferrite, an elastic product that can be made in any shape. Maximum working temperature: 80°C.

NEODYMIUM MAGNETIC RUBBER
Magnetic flexible rubber made of plasto-neodymium. Products can be made without a mould. We create shapes and sizes depending on customer requirements; the same applies to magnetic properties and the rigidity of the profile. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 8.5 MGOe, Residual induction (Br): up to 6500 Gauss. Suitable for industrial applications. Maximum working temperature: 100°C.

NEODYMIUM
Sintered neodymium guarantees a high force of attraction. Disks, rings, cylinders and segments are all shapes designed for locking systems with the option of making holes on the rear to ensure rapid installation and improved grip. Maximum working temperature: 200°C.

FERRITE
Sintered ferrite for locking systems that require high thermal resistance. Maximum working temperature: 300°C.

MAGNET
Magnets can be supplied with a rubber, resin, steel or plastic coating. Rear with a pin or hole for quick and easy assembly.
ELECTROMAGNET
An electromagnet consists in a ferrous-magnetic nucleus with a coil wound around it. It generates a magnetic field when activated by an electric current. When the current flows through the electromagnet, the magnetic nucleus is activated guaranteeing closure.
SAMARIUM-COBALT
Sintered samarium-cobalt magnet with a high magnetic flux rate, very similar to neodymium. Suitable for high temperatures: from 200°C up to 350°C.

ALNICO
The magnetic field of alnico magnets is very stable, with very low losses at high temperatures and excellent resistance to corrosion. Maximum working temperature: 500°C.

PLASTO-MAGNETS
Magnets made by injection moulding of plastic materials and magnetic components made of neodymium or ferrite. Plasto-magnets can reach very high magnetic qualities. Residual induction (Br): up to 6 kGs. Maximum energy product (BH max): up to 6.2 MGOe. Intrinsic coercive force (Hcj): up to 11.5 kOe. Maximum working temperature: up to 120°C.
