At Salone del Mobile 2017 in Milan, the company Florim Ceramiche has shown the first maxi slabs in porcelain stoneware with dimension 120x240cm and thickness of only 6mm lied with the magnetic self-lying system studied and patented by Bassi Group International srl.

Maxi slabs in porcelain stoneware, with the magnetic self-lying system, had covered the entire Florim’s exhibition space. In a booth of about 2000 square meters the company presented to an international audience the last collections made in Florim in collaboration with Bassi Group International, dedicated to the interior design, architecture and building’s world.

With only 1.5 mm of thickness, the magnetic film used by Florim Ceramiche for the magnetic lying of maxi slabs, guarantees a 20gr/cm fixing capacity, which is equivalent to a strain force of 60kg. The base was realized lying our metallic film IronFlex 50 that ensures the magnetic hook of slabs in stoneware and acts as a thermal and acoustic insulation.

Materials’ choice happened after months of accurate resistance to loads and shocks tests.
