Magnets for fastening systems

Magnets for fastening systems are grouped into two product lines: standard and special.

The "CALAMITA" line includes standard shapes and coatings. The SPECIALE (special) line includes every magnet made according to specific customer requirements and directives.

Magnets for fastening systems have been created to meet the need of the industry for alternative solutions compared to securing items with nails, screws or adhesives and to ease product removal. Modern fastening systems require clearances reduced to a minimum, strong and powerful fastening points, attention to design and detail. Thanks to magnetic fastening systems, it is no longer necessary to use screws and screwdrivers because a magnet fixes everything. Magnet specifications are carefully researched for every specific customer application to guarantee the desired hold, and a quality fix that will remain constant through time.

The main fields of application vary from securing panels, sheets, signs and shelves installed both indoors and outdoors, creating a fastening system that has a modern and refined design, right through to fastening systems for beacons, rear light kits, lighting systems, signage, magnetic locking systems for formwork, fastening systems for magnetic layers, food industry valves and car accessories.

All our magnets are customised according to customer requirements or are made in close collaboration with the customer during the design phase.
MAGNETIC MATERIALS FOR FASTENING SYSTEMS ARE GROUPED AS FOLLOWS:
FERRITE MAGNETIC RUBBER
Magnetic flexible rubber made of plasto-ferrite, an elastic product that can be made in any shape. Maximum working temperature: 80°C.

MAGNET
Magnets can be supplied with a rubber, resin, steel or plastic coating. Rear features a pin or hole for quick and easy assembly.
ELECTROMAGNET
An electromagnet consists in a ferrous-magnetic nucleus with a coil wound around it. It generates a magnetic field when activated by an electric current. When the current flows through the electromagnet, the magnetic nucleus is activated guaranteeing closure.
