Privacy policy as per Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. 

Pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 dated 30 June 2003 (“Personal Data Protection Code”) safeguarding individuals and other subjects as concerns personal data processing, we would like to inform you that BASSI GROUP INTERNATIONAL SRLU is in possession of your personal data, acquired either directly or via third parties.

The data controller is BASSI GROUP INTERNATIONAL S.r.l.u. with registered office in Castelnovo di Sotto (Reggio Emilia), P.le degli Alberi 7, which pursuant to Articles 28 and 29 of the aforementioned Legislative Decree, assumes the role of data controller.

Pursuant to the standard indicated above, all data processing shall comply with principles of fairness, legality and transparency to safeguard your confidentiality and rights. Pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, we hereby provide you with the following information.

Aim of the data processing
The personal data you provide shall be processed for the following purposes:

  1. compliance with legal obligations, regulations, European Community standards, regarding fiscal or book-keeping matters, related to the tasks conferred on the Company;
  2. compliance with contractual requirements and subsequent legal and contractual obligations;
  3. forwarding of business information regarding our services, operational information, promotional messages, tariffs and conditions of sale.

Scope of communication

Your data shall be shared with the persons entrusted by us; except for disclosure carried out pursuant to the law, your data shall not be shared with other companies for advertising aims.

Data processing methods

According to the aims mentioned above, your personal data shall be processed using paper, IT or electronic supports, pursuant to the laws in force and, in any case, in such a way to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data. Your data shall be updated and stored for the time necessary for the reasons whereby the data was collected and processed.

Obligatory or optional conferment of the data

Conferment of the data is obligatory as regards aims 1) and 2), whereas it is optional for the aims described in point 3). Any refusal to provide or process said data shall determine the deletion of your data from our commercial databases used to send promotional information or price lists, however your data shall be processed as concerns compliance with any legal and contractual obligations taken on previously.

Rights as per Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code

At any time you may exercise your rights as regards the data controller, pursuant to Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, which we quote here entirely for your convenience: Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – Right to access personal data and other rights.

  1. The data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her exists.
  2. The data subject shall have the right to be informed of the source of the personal data, the purposes and methods of the processing.
  3. The data subject shall have the right to have their personal data updated, corrected or modified, deleted, transformed into anonymous form or blocked if used unlawfully, including any information whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed.The data subject shall have the right to receive certification that the operations in a) and b) and their contents have been notified to the entities to whom the data was disclosed, unless this requirement is impossible or requires a disproportional effort compared to the right to be protected.
  4. The data subject shall have the right to object either entirely or in part to the processing of personal data that regards him or her where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising material or making direct sales, market research or business information.

Only in the cases provided for by Article 24 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 concerning the processing of data, the permission of the data subject shall not expressly be requested.
