Magnetic self-laying system for gres receives the Heavy Duty classification from the Ceramic Center of Bologna

The test was carried out and certified by the Bologna Ceramic Center on 10 July 2017.

With a total of 14 tests performed and 14 tests completely overcome without any damage, the Bassi Group International magnetic self-laying system has achieved the “Heavy Duty” rating as indicated by the Handbook for Ceramic, Glass and Stone Tile Installation – 2015 TCNA.

Heavy Duty Classification means that the magnetic self-laying system for ceramic is suitable for environments such as shopping malls, shops, commercial kitchens, work areas, laboratories, car showrooms and service areas, freight forwarding.

The Robinson test is a test carried out according to the ASTM C627 standard, to predict the performance of a laid flooring. This test method consists in the reproduction of a pavement subjected to various stress cycles.

Stresses consist of rolling exercised by different types of wheels (soft rubber, hard rubber, steel) on whichare applied increasing loads.

The equipment consists of a support to which three wheels are rotated according to a circular path on the flooring sample (understood as a building system consisting, for example, of screed, adhesive, tiles and leakage material).

Each wheel is loaded continuously, starting from 45 kg to 136 kg, depending on the cycle reached. During the test, the carriage rotates at a speed of 15 rev / min.

The magnetic self-laying system patented by Bassi Group International is the only patented self-laying system that has received the Heavy Duty certification for commercial environments.
